Traveling East on  Northern Blvd

  • Left turn onto  Middle Neck Rd

  • Continue on Middle Neck Road past the railroad and into the town

  • Turn right onto Grace Ave -  (Clock Tower)

  • Go on Grace Ave for 4-5 blocks until  you reach Gilchrest Rd

  • Turn right and make your second left into the back parking lot

  • Once you enter the lot, you will see a gate in the far right corner.  Walk through the gate and follow path to the back parking lot door  – Ring intercom

Traveling West on Northern Blvd

Across from Macy’s parking lot make a  right turn onto East Shore Rd at light ( also called Community Drive when going south towards NS hospital).  Follow bolded directions below.



Traveling from the West: 
GRAND CENTRAL PARKWAY

  • Take the Grand Central Parkway into the Northern State Parkway East

  • Get off at Exit 25 North (Lakeville Road - Great Neck)

  • Continue north on Lakeville Road and cross over Northern Blvd.  (Lakeville Road becomes Middle Neck Road)

  • Travel north into the town of Great Neck and at the clock tower you will make a right turn onto Grace Avenue

  •  Continue on Grace Avenue until you come to the traffic light at Gilchrest Road.  You will see a school with the  SENIOR CENTER, CLASP, OPEN DOOR sign

  • Make a right turn at Gilchrest Road and park in the second, lower parking lot on the left

  • Proceed through the gate (in far right corner) and ring the doorbell for Open Door



LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY

  • Take the Long Island Expressway East to Exit 33

  • Travel North on Community Drive, passing LIJ/North Shore Hospital on the right

  • Continue North on Community Drive and  cross over Northern Blvd.  Community Drive will turn into East Shore Road

  • Go under the elevated Long Island Railroad tracks and make a left turn at the traffic light which will be Grace Avenue

  • Continue up the hill and after the stop sign, bear right

  • School is on your left with the sign SENIOR CENTER, CLASP AND OPEN DOOR

  • Make a left turn at the traffic light which will be Gilchrest Road

  • Proceed to the second, lower parking lot on the left.

  • Go through the gate in the far right corner and ring the doorbell for Open Door

     

Traveling from the East:
LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY 
Take the Long Island Express, West,  to Exit 33 and follow directions above.

NORTHERN STATE PARKWAY
Take the Northern State Parkway, West, to Exit 25 North and follow the directions above.
